I am originally from Amarillo, TX and grew up playing for Amarillo Elite Volleyball Club. After high school, I went to play at the University of Oklahoma as an outside hitter (2008-2011). I spent each summer coaching OU Volleyball summer camps. After graduating with a BS in biology, I began giving private and group lessons to young volleyball players in the Norman/Oklahoma City area. I have also worked with middle school and high school teams/coaches in order to teach them new drills and offer a fresh perspective. In 2015, I moved to Austin to get my Master's in Environmental Management and Sustainability at St. Edward's University and began coaching camps/clinics, private lessons, and athletic development at Austin Juniors. Now, in addition to coaching club, I work for the UT Department of Integrative Biology as a research engineer/environmental scientist.
